Funding and spending: When you make a payment on Leaf, you agree to provide a valid funding instrument. When you have successfully added your funding instrument, we will allow you to initiate a transaction using Leaf Payment.
Pricing: Pay attention to the details of the transaction, because your total price may include taxes, fees and delivery costs, all of which you are responsible for paying except for the smart cylinder which will remain property of Leaf.
Extra terms: You may be presented with additional terms related to a specific payment before you confirm the transaction (such as additional cost for delivery of our larger cylinder range). Those additional terms will also govern that transaction.
Subscriptions: If you make an order, we will bill your funding instrument immediately the product has been delivered and then again on the day the LPG cylinder is replaced. The following terms apply for subscriptions purchased through Leaf Payments:
No warranties: You acknowledge that any products or services you may purchase on the Leaf payment platform will be strictly managed by Leaf management or affiliate company stated on our website upon purchase. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES FOR ANY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES SOLD THROUGH A NON-LEAF AFFILIATED COUNTERPARTY USING OUR CYLINDERS AND IF OUR CYLINDERS ARE REFILLED BY A NON-LEAF AFFILIATE COMPANY, YOUR SUBSCIPTION WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED AND FULL PAYMENT OF OUR CYLINDER WILL BE TAKEN FROM YOUR PAYMENT INSTRUMENT AVAILABLE IN OUR RECORDS.
Funding instruments: We want to make Leaf Payments convenient, so we allow you to fund your transactions using several different sources, such as credit cards and debit cards and other payment methods.
Authority: When you provide a funding instrument to us, you confirm that you are permitted to use that funding instrument. When you fund a transaction, you authorise us (and our designated payment processor) to charge the full amount to the funding instrument that you designate for the transaction. You also authorise us to collect and store that funding instrument, along with other related transaction information.
Authorisation: If you pay by credit or debit card, we may obtain a pre-approval from the issuer of the card for an amount, which may be as high as the full price of your payment. Your card will be charged at the time you initiate a payment or shortly thereafter. If you cancel a transaction before completion, this pre-approval may result in those funds not otherwise being immediately available to you.
Failed payments: If you pay by debit card and you load transaction results in an overdraft or other fee from your bank, you alone are responsible for that fee.
Incompatibility: You may at some point encounter a feature that does not support the payment method you would prefer to use; however, you can select a different type of payment instrument (such as credit or debit card, or mobile operator billing).
Mobile billing: Mobile network billing is another payment method that we will make available for your convenience. If you use mobile billing as a funding instrument, you consent to the following applicable risks and other terms:
We do our best to ensure we deliver and install the Leaf smart cylinders and gas safely, but we cannot 100% guarantee its safety. We are on hand to provide all the information you need to ensure our smart cylinders are transported, stored and used safely. Specific details regarding storage of LPG cylinders can be found in the Liquid Petroleum Gas Association Code of Practice 7 document. It is important to adhere to a few simple rules when storing your gas cylinders and we need your help to keep Leaf cylinders safe, which includes the following commitments by you:
Keep cylinder in safe location: The following are basic instructions that must be adhered to for safety purposes;
Be aware of – the properties of the gas: There are specific storage requirements for LPG cylinder products;

At-will use: We may revoke your eligibility to use Leaf Payments and Smart Cylinder services at any time at our sole discretion.
Enquiries: By using Leaf, you acknowledge and agree that we may make any enquiries that we consider necessary, either directly or through third parties, concerning your identity and creditworthiness.
Our right to cancel: We may cancel any transaction and full service if we believe that the transaction violates these Terms or safety policies, or if we believe that doing so may prevent financial loss and/or unsafe operation of our smart cylinder systems. We may also cancel any payment transactions we believe is of fraudulent or illegal behaviour and arrangements will be made to retrieve the Leaf cylinders.
Payment limitations: To prevent financial loss to you or to us, we may place a delay on a payment for a period of time or limit funding instruments for a transaction, or limit your ability to make a payment, or deactivate your account.
Sharing of information: To prevent financial loss to you or to us, we may contact your funding instrument issuer, law enforcement or affected third parties (including other users) and share details of any payments that you are associated with, if we believe that doing so may prevent financial loss or a violation of law.
Abandoned property: If you leave the Leaf cylinder unused or unfilled for more than 2 months, we will decide to retrieved the Leaf LPG cylinders and Leaf will deactivate your account. If we are unable to make arrangements to retrieve the cylinders by no fault of ours, the customer will be liable to pay for the full cost of the cylinder and monitoring systems.
Customer assistance: We provide various tools in our Leaf support centre to assist you in communicating with the Leaf management team to resolve a dispute arising from a service or payment transaction.
Duty to notify us: If you believe that an unauthorised or otherwise problematic transaction has taken place under your account or our Smart Cylinder system has been compromised, you agree to notify us immediately so that we may act to ensure safe gas supply and prevent financial loss. Unless you submit the claim to us within 30 days after the charge, you will have waived, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all claims against us arising out of or otherwise related to the transaction.
Payment difficulties: If you experience a technical failure that causes your payment to fail, we may request that your transaction be completed later while we continue to provide you with gas.
Notice to you: By using the Leaf service, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically any important information regarding your payments or your account. We may also provide notices to you by posting them on our website or by sending them to an email address or postal address that you have previously provided to us. Website and email notices shall be considered received by you within 24 hours of the time posted or sent; notices by postal mail shall be considered received within three (3) business days of the time sent.
Notice to us: Except as otherwise stated, you must send notices to us relating to Leaf services and these Terms by contacting us on the details provided on the contact us page.
Amendment guidelines: We may update these terms at and time without notice as we deem necessary to the full extent permitted by law. The Payments Terms in place at the time that you confirm a transaction will govern that transaction.
